Enter The Darkside Detective. In moments of nocturnal disturbances or unexplained sensations, Detective McQueen stands ready to confront whatever frightful phenomena arise—though he himself does not emit any fishy odors.

Continuing from the narrative established in The Darkside Detective, McQueen must rescue his typically present (if not always mentally engaged) sidekick Officer Dooley from the Darkside. Together, they embark on their mission to explore the extensive array of bizarre and paradoxical happenings in their town.
